By dissolving minerals and oxides in hot water, the artist forms a solution that slowly cools, transforming the saturated minerals into crystals, and encapsulating the underlying structure. The resulting piece is a breathtaking display of organic shape, colour, and texture, which is entirely unique due to the natural crystallization process. This object is handcrafted in the atelier of Isaac Monte in the Netherlands. This vase has an opening at the top with a removable container for holding water and filling with flowers.
