FORTUNY

Mario Fortuny was born in 1871 in Granada Spain and after a childhood marked by the premature death of his father he moved to Venice. Together with his muse & his wife, Henriette Negrin, he began his adventure with textiles. Palazzo Orfei became their atelier and their workshop of amazing creations. 

In Palazzo Fortuny pleating procedures printing on fabrics working with cotton velvets and the creation of lamps and diffusers occurred. The Fortuny lamp & other design objects have been chosen by architects designers and decorators all around the world. All suitable for any interior from classic to contemporary.

One of the attractive qualities of Fortuny is its allure of mystery due to the fact that most people are denied access to its inner core. Fortuny remains the most beautiful timeless and unique fabrics in the world.
